About Us
Our Team:
Cindy Dunsmoor- "Video capture cards now available for the PC" is all Cindy needed to read and she was into it. As a
certified computer technician and full time technical and software instructor she was anxious to be one of the first to build a video editing computer and learn the software. Cindy worked with Cathy Roe Productions, her sister's production company, recording video, editing, and creating special effects for instructional videos while continuing her training career.
In early 2003 she was contracted to the Kellogg Company to create and develop a hands on training curriculum for their SAP customer relationship management (CRM) application which was under development. The project was a tremendous success and a wonderful relationship was built. Cindy continued to work with Kellogg Company developing printed training materials while bringing multimedia projects into the mix. In 2006 she was awarded the opportunity to work with Kellogg's to design custom training which included a manual, 9 online interactive tutorials, and a simulated webinar for a new SAP application being implemented globally. Again, a huge success.
Now her education (BA in Communications, Fine Arts, Business) , computer certifications (CNA,CNE, MCP, A+) and work experience have come together to bring you Cindy Dunsmoor's Media Essentials, a media training and production company that puts life into communications.
Cathy Roe- brings production experience to the team with over 150 films and videos created by her production company, Cathy Roe Productions. She is the owner of Santa Fe Studio Stage, a fully functional production facility in Santa Fe, NM. Her directing and choreographic credentials include work with Hong Kong Television and University of Hawaii.
Cathy's contributes to the team in about every way possible, creative scripting, acting, directing, lighting, editing, narration you name it. What we like best, she makes everything fun.
Jim Dunsmoor-you may not have seen too much of Jim, he's usually the one behind the camera or microphone. Jim has a keen eye for staging and lighting, and a great voice for narration. He holds a BA in Radio, TV, Film, and Communications.
Jim's work experience as a radio D. J. showcased his ability to speak clearly and at an even pace. This is especially important for audio delivered over the web which can get slushy when compressed. You can listen to Jim's narration on our training examples page.
