Introduction to ERW Websites
Thank you for visiting ERW Websites. Please take a minute to let me explain to you why it is that we are a "different kind of web design company".
Our first business is custom programming. In 1981 we began serving small and medium sized businesses and have done so successfully since. That means we can help your business in ways that go far beyond websites. Things like eliminating double entry by integrating 2 or more programs to share the same data. Things like automating QuickBooks. And dozens of other things you can learn about later.
As you navigate around our website you will notice how much information is available to you without having to complete an annoying contact page and without having to talk to us. You can easily determine what it is we have to offer and for how much. In addition, the terms and conditions are clearly spelled out.
We have many websites as examples and, in many cases, tell you exactly how much you would have to pay and in others approximately how much.
You will also develop a sense of whether you would like to work with us.
If you like our work and if you like our prices and if you think you would like to work with us, haven't you accomplished your goal of finding a company you would like to talk to?
One more thing, we return our phone calls. We have heard over and over again that many of our competitors do not.
We are committed to keeping your costs down by using high productivity tools and by re-using existing websites and then changing them to meet your specifications.
We create websites using Dreamweaver and NetObjects Fusion. Unless there is a compelling reason to use Dreamweaver, we use NetObjects Fusion because it allows us to do websites much faster.
We are developing high productivity tools such as automatically creating website code when possible. An example for techies is a tool that generates the array for the pop-ups on this site when hovering over a picture or other object. For non-techies, it saves us time and we pass the savings on to you.
Finally, our real business is not custom programming and it is not custom websites, although we are very good at both. Our real business is doing our best to help your company prosper in good times and bad. We have customers still doing work with us who started with us in 1985! Twenty years from now, we would like to say the same about you.
